Opening of the Asia travel

Hi All,

I still don’t know what will be the best language to use for this blog. Some of you don’t understand French, the others don’t understand German or Spanish. And for sure English will also be a problem so … Let’s do that: I will write some news in each language and you will be in charge if you want, to find someone to traduce it.

1- Forget it I won’t duplicate each message in every language.
2- I am both bad in each of the mentioned languages

So Let’s Go!

First of all I want to give you good news: I am well landed to Taiwan.
After a nice trip (=seemed not to be so long) in car from Berlin to Frankfurt, I met Sarah and we went to a last german restaurant on the corner.

We were than in a winery with Anne too for the last nicht before my travel in Germany.
After a short but deeply sleep, I went with Sarah to the subway station to go the airport. Sarah left me here and I take my train. I have all what I need, my bag, a compagnon (the small version of Bruno bear from Freidrichshain Volkspark) and good mood.

Wohawww I forgot the Int. Airport of Frankfurt was so big, by flighting from/to Berlin, we forget sometimes what is look like a real Airport … a joke, just a joke … =)

I take a internal train which link the different Terminal, mine is E. At the entrance of the boarding one the guard asked me to change my Eticket with a boarding card to the china airline stand.Ok … And here began the stress, the woman of the company refuses to accept my ticket because there is not flight booked to get out of Japan. She asked me to by a come back ticket to franckfurt .. ?? … !!!

Forget it … After negocations and talks with the superior she finally decided to give me the card and warn me to buy a flight from Japan when I will be in Taiwan.

pfff thanks.

Then I received the call from Jenny to meet in the airport, but as said, it is huge and they are in the other Terminal so we agreed to meet us when I will be back, hope good trip each other.

I go on the flight and begin to write some notes in the agenda about the trip in Japan. It is starting, the motors warm up and I can see the itinary of the flight on the screen: Flight over the south of Germany, South of Russia, North of Iran and finally India before China and Taiwan.

Local Time: 11:30
Destination Time: 6:30
Time of the flight: 11:20

 

Consommation during the flight:

- 2 Wine
- 2 Vodka
- 1 Beer

During the flight I met I Wei, who is living in JIayi (Taiwan) and will go to Japan on March 8th for 2-3 weeks.
Perhaps we will meet again in Taiwan or Japan.

The food is really good and the presentation nice. I am just a bit surprised that they serve the red wine in a Sake cup.

I finally landed in Taipei and I-Wei show me the bus I have to take to join the main station. One hour later I am there and I called Wan Ting. She comes with her father (who luckily talk also a bit englisch and we drive to their house.
The mother is also really kind and they show me the room where I will stay. Houaw … like in the film, with the futon on the corner, small table, sliding doors …

We took a fast breakfast with fruits (two of them were unknown) and we go with Wanting to the 101 Tower.

It is the biggest tower of the world (506 meters) until now. Dubai is still building a bigger one. The weather is not really the best to go up to the platform, we will come back next week.

Then we go to the Shing Tien Gong temple, for the old venerated general Kuan Sheng Di Jun in Taiwan. This site is a place of Taoisme culte (a bit different with Bouddhisme).

We participated to the ritual we consist in burn two incenses, one for the god the other for the late general and pray in front of each one with short bow.

We came back home eating a soup in a stand on the street (typical too) and Wan ting began to play Piano. I am too tired and I felt asleep, one hour after I came back to the kitchen, discussed with the father who showed me photos and did some search on Internet. Afterwhat I felt again for 8 hours of deeply sleep.

The next day we wait for Shih Cheng, a friend of Wan ting to begin the trip around the island.
